The Velocity Edge Program is an eight-week performance block designed for runners already training 3–4 times per week who are ready to sharpen their speed and unlock new levels of efficiency over the shorter distances. This program incorporates five runs per week but you do have the option to add an easy run or cross-training day to bring you to six days of running per week. Alternatively, you may subtract one easy run per week, to give you four total days of running. The gym based strength work is set for two days per week.
This plan blends targeted run sessions, structured intensity, and smart strength training to elevate your VO₂ capacity, refine your mechanics, and build the resilience needed to run fast, consistently.
Across the next eight weeks, you’ll follow a progressive mix of interval work, threshold running, strides, and high-quality aerobic sessions. Strength training is integrated to reinforce power, stability, and injury resistance, helping you move with more force and confidence. Every week is built with intention: enough stimulus to push your limits, balanced with recovery to let your speed adapt and grow.
Upon payment, you will receive two emails within the following 24 hours. The first is a welcome email with your pdf copy of the program attached. The second is an invite to set up your Truecoach account. Once training begins you will have access to the program for 8 consecutive weeks. Please note that GYM ACCESS IS MANDATORY
